Are we a good fit?
Finding the right therapist can feel like a big decision—and it should. Therapy is a deeply personal process, and the connection between therapist and client plays a vital role in how healing unfolds.
If you're someone who is carrying the weight of past or present trauma, working through anxiety, or navigating overwhelming thoughts, you’re not alone. Whether you’re a first responder exposed to high-stress situations or an individual facing emotional wounds from other areas of life, my practice is rooted in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where your experience is honored and understood.
I work from a trauma-focused and strength-based lens, which means I don’t see you as broken or needing to be “fixed.” Instead, I believe in your resilience and capacity for healing. I integrate Humanistic and Person-Centered approaches to ensure that therapy moves at your pace, respects your values, and puts you in the driver’s seat of your own journey.
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) complements this work by helping us slow down and notice the patterns of thought and emotion that may be contributing to distress. Together, we’ll build practical tools to manage triggers, reduce reactivity, and reconnect with the present moment.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will walk alongside you with empathy, authenticity, and respect—someone who understands the toll that trauma and high-pressure roles can take—you may find this space to be a supportive fit.
Let’s find out together. I invite you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to explore whether this path feels right for you.
